Hi,
If you have been plagued by moles for most of your life... I have great news for you...I found a permanent solution to mole removal and on this page you will find an end your living with your moles and warts, your skin tags, and other skin problems.
Like you I am a life-long sufferer of moles. I lived with them for 40 years until I got the facts, and got rid of them. On this page, I will give you the facts about mole removal surgery and natural alternatives for removing them, so you can avoid the problems I made, and make a decision that can change your looks for the better.
Like I said, I suffered from unsightly moles on my skin. They covered my chest and most of my back, and one was right on my cheek. I really never gave them much thought until one day I noticed a girlfriend of mine looking at me funny. She said that my moles were getting bigger - I chose to do nothing about my moles because I thought surgery was the only option for me. I simply didn’t agree with going in for surgery for a number of reasons, mostly I hate being cut; and felt I could, somehow mentally get over this problem anyway. My girlfriend by the way, broke up...
After that episode, I would go to the beach or pool and get self-conscious about my moles. If anybody happened to look at my moles it would immediately freak me out and send me running. Sometimes I tried to play it off so people wouldn’t know that my moles bothered me, but now looking back, I realize I was in denial. When I had my clothes on, I was usually a happy, care-free person, but take off the shirt, and I became a silent, and withdrawn, and not fun to be around.
I found a way to remove my moles, and it really changed my life. This is why I am writing you today, to give you all the info I have learned about removing moles; the different methods of mole removal, and what I think is your best bet to remove yours.
I guess from what you have read, I am sure you have already guessed that I am against removing moles with surgery. I always have been and always will be, a chicken. I don't mind telling you. I hate pain, and every removal procedure at the doctors office comes with what they call "slight pressure"... believe me, removing moles that way hurts more than slight pressure. I recommend you avoid this procedure.
I hate to sound like a negative person. I do not want to give you a biased opinion and bash the dermatologist, or surgery in general. I will give you the honest truth, both the good and bad, so you can make a decision for yourself on natural mole removal, laser mole removal, or surgical mole removal. Read, and make a choice.
Everyone is different and not every Joe trusts natural "herbal" methods. I believe removing moles the natural way of removing moles. I used DermaTend to remove all my moles; even my big facial mole, and you know what?... It really changed my life.
No matter how hard I try, I can’t tell you enough how it feels to remove your moles forever. No more feeling ugly, no more avoiding certain situations, and no more embarrasing encounters with girls.
I have changed my life, and I want you to know how easy it is to do the same. It is best to look at all your options, so please take your time, read through this webpage before making a final decision. In the end you will be better off and more confident in the choice that you make. If you have any questions feel free to email me at any time.

What Are Moles Anyway?
Here is some great information about Moles. I saved it from the top web sites online today. All information has been checked for errors. A "Nevus" is the medical term for mole, which are small growths on the skin, usually raised, mostly dark, and sometimes moles can be hairy. These growths occur when cells (melanocytes) in the skin, grow in a type of "cluster" with tissue surrounding them. Those little Melanocytes are actually distributed evenly throughout your skin and produce the pigment in your body that gives you your skin color. At the beach the suns exposure causes the melanocytes to produce more pigment, causes your skin to darken or tan.
The sizes of moles: Moles can vary in size, in shape and in color; and can be present anywhere on the body. Some moles may be considered a beauty mark, some, may go undetected, and others can be very unpleasant and bothersome to live with... facial mole removal being the #1 cosmetic procedure behind breast augmentation.
EXAMINATION: The Many Types of Moles
The Congenital Nevi Mole
These are type of moles that are present on us at birth. These moles vary in size and color, and may change slightly in size as you get older in proportion to your body growth. The color of the mole may also change; becoming slightly lighter or darker over time. If you notice any accelerated change in your moles size; its color or texture, it should be noted as it could be a cause for concern. At this point, see a dermatologist.
The Acquired Nevi Mole
These "acquired nevi moles" are like the name implys "acquired" during your teens and early in the adult life. They are usually smaller than .25 inch in size and also vary in color and size. USUALLY there is little risk of melanoma type skin cancer developing, they should be watched and acted upon should any changes occur. Any moles acquired after the age of 50 should be evaluated by your dermatologist.
What is a Dysplastic Nevi
A Dysplastic mole is also acquired and may appear as an isolated mole or in a cluster. These moles are larger than the common mole, and they have irregular borders that may make them appear fuzzy. The center of a dyplastic mole may be raised and darker than the surrounding tissue. Some doctors believe that these moles have an increased risk of turning into melanoma. The Dyplastic mole can be hereditary and families having a history of them or of Melanoma should be checked regularly and do monthly self-examinations.
The Causes Of Moles
There are many different causes of moles and where they come from. A mole may be present at birth, or slowly develop over time. The big one, "Sun exposure" aids in the development of moles, but mainly atypical. Heredity also is a big part in the growth of moles and the types an individual may have.

Details of Laser Mole Removal
I have heard a lot about using a laser on moles; mostly negative. Although the laser is quick, it leaves a scar most of the time. The way it work is: The Laser light "beam" is used to the heat cells or tissue with the intent of manipulating or bursting them. The light beam bombards the mole, which is then broken up and absorbed by your body during the healing process. To reduce your chance of scarring I recommend using NeoBiotic Ointment.
Which Moles Should Use Laser For Removal?
New moles
Flat moles
Pin size moles
What type of moles should not use Laser Removal?
Protruding moles, as the laser beam does not penetrate the skin deeply enough
Old Moles
Large Moles
What Happens During the Laser Procedure?
First the skin is numbed with a needle, after which, a low setting laser light is used to decrease or completey remove the brown pigmentation of the mole. Procedure time varies depending on the size and severity of the mole. Healing time - 4 weeks.
Is The Laser Mole Procedure Painful?
Yes. Some people have indicated that they feel a severe tingling when the laser pulses, or that the laser pulse feels like a rubberband snap to the skin. The pulses continue up to 20 minutes depending on the size of the mole.
What To Expect After The Laser Removal Treatment
After recieving laser treatment, the area surrounding the mole may appear darker or redden and be sore to the touch. The area will turn into a scab which should fall off within 2 weeks. Because of the sensitivity to the area, the "new skin under the mole" must be protected. Again, we recommend an all natural antibiotic ointment, and sunscreen should be used for 6 weeks following the procedure, although sun exposure should be avoided entirely if at all possible.
There are Risks Using A Laser For Mole Removal
Usually, noninvasive surgery, like punch or scapel mole removal, is performed either with a local anesthesia or not, but some procedures, like laser mole removal may require general anesthesia, which always poses a risk. Infection is the biggest risk of any noninvasive surgery.
Possible Trouble During Laser SurgeryThe possible problems include incomplete treatment of the problem, pain, infection, bleeding, scarring, and skin color changes. Scarring is also a risk of this procedure, some skin discoloration may occur which is said to decrease over time. There is a chance that laser treatments will only lighten the mole and not remove it entirely, multiple treatments may be necessary.
The High Cost Of Laser Surgery
The cost of removing moles with a laser varies greatly. As I said earlier, several treatments may be required to completely remove the mole. Some patients claim their laser treatments are as low as $50 per session while others report (CALIFORNIA USA) the prices as high as $400 per session.
How Many Laser Removal Sessions?
Again, usually 3 sessions are needed to completely remove a mole with a laser. Some patients with flat moles may see a change in one session (or 2) while other patients require more than three treatments for large sized protruding moles.
Can Insurance Help Pay The Cost?
No. Laser mole removal, or any type of mole removal is considered a cosmetic procedure , therefore not covered by MOST insurance companies. Financing options may available though through your doctor.

Natural Mole Removal Options
There are several natural mole removers out there, the one mole removal formula I recommend is DermaTend - I stand by it because it worked on me; but basically they all work on the same principal. The herbs used in the DermaTend formula destroy the bad cell tissues of the mole, while leaving healthy skin in place.
The Natural Removal Procedure
One of the best things about using natural mole removers is that you can be do it in the comfort of your own home. Before you begin removing your mole, the area to be treated should be cleaned with anticeptic. Then use a pumice stone to rub the mole - about 30 seconds -- so that the formula can penetrate the skin. If you can rub longer, do it. The DermaTend is then applied to the mole and remains on for the set time for that specific formula. With the DermaTend Mole Removal Kit, a scab should appear within 24 hours which should NOT be picked at, or removed prematurely. Be patent. The scab will fall of naturally in a few days revealing healthy skin underneath. Then add a natural antibiotic ointment similar to NeoBiotic Ointment to reduce the chance of scarring
How Do I Know It‘s Working?
After you rub your mole and cover it with DermaTend, a mild to strong stinging sensation will be felt for about 10 seconds. If this is not felt, the mole should be rubbed again with a pumice or with a clean needle. This is not very painful nor does it require anesthesia or any type of numbing cream.
How Long Will Natural Mole Removal Take?
Typically, with DermaTend, the mole should scab overnight, hence their name "DermaTend Overnight". The scab may take 7-10 days to fall off. After the scab has fallen off there may be slightly red tissue which is typical after a scab, this color should disappear with clear skin showing within a few weeks.
Will DermaTend Mole Remover Leave A Scar?
Of all the removal methods, DermaTend's Overnight Mole Removal Kit is less likely to leave a scar. As there is no incision, no scar should occur unless the scab is pulled off prematurely. Remember to use Neobiotic on your skin to reduce your chance of scarring.
How Much Does DermaTend Cost?
Prices vary for the different formulas from $25-$80. Keep in mind that these formulas can be used to remove up to 10 moles. Natural mole removal is by far the cheapest method, and the best value for your dollar. The New & Improved version of DermaTend is out now, promising even better results that before.
What About Mole Removal E-books?
There are many do-it-yourself “formulas” out there for people to make at home. There is one ebook in particular that you pay $30 for, only to be disappointed. This is only one of the many web sites put out by less than straight forward hucksters. I bought their Ebook and here is the whole thing: Their idea of natural mole removal is castor oil and baking soda. I tried this personally and had absolutely no results. This man is clearly out to make a buck, and has 3 other sites that "solve" certain problems naturally all remarkably in only 3 days. The sites are written exactly the same with his sob story of how he has suffered these ailments, from acne, to moles and warts, to bad breath, to obesity. It is amazing to know this guy has suffered so long but found the natural solution to them.
Natural Mole Removal Recommendation
Like I said, to remove my moles I used a product called DermaTend. I purchased their Overnight Mole Removal Formula and had excellent results. It also came with some of that Neobiotic ointment they recommend. Today, I am mole free. I really couldn't be happier with this product. I stand behind it 100%.
My Experience With Dermatend?
After doing 20 hours of research, I found that Dermatend was the best priced and seemed to have many happy customers, with some before and after pictures. I paid $69.95 for a large kit, and followed the directions. They suggest scratching the mole with a needle or pumice stone very lightly. I went with the pumice.
I started using it on the 2 protruding moles on my back. I have to admit, I did not scratch it right at first, and went a week without getting any results. I decided to try again. I rubbed the moles with the stone until they became quite tender. I then applied hydrogen peroxide to the area to clean it. After it was cleaned I applied Dermatend and put on a bandaid. This was at about 11pm. It stung a little, but not much, and in a few minutes I didn't feel it anymore. I forgot about it during South Park and went to bed shortly after.
When I woke up the next morning I took off the band aid in the shower. When I ran my hand over the area I could not believe it. The mole didn't stick out anymore and a scab had formed over the top. You can imagine how excited I was, so I waited to see what happened when the scab healed. It took about 2 weeks, total, and when the scab was gone, the skin was pinker then the surrounding skin, as is common with any other scab that heals. It wasn't a scar, it was just fresh new skin. I put on the NeoBiotic stuff that came with the kit. After about a month my new skin darkened up and today you would hardly know I ever had a mole there. No kidding!
Since then I have taken off all my moles, and I even used it on my dog. She had a big skin tag on her elbow. Anyway, the results were all the same with the rest of my moles. It took in total about 3 months to take them all off, as I was nervous not to do all my moles at once. Even so, after all that, I am more then happy to recommend Dermatend than I am recommending my college. I and am a very happy customer to say the least. Personally, I think natural mole removal is the only way to go. For the price and the results, surgery just doesn't make sense.
I Highly Recommend Natural Mole Removal.

Other Mole Removal Surgery
Before Punch or Scapel Surgery
If you choose this route, you are braver than I...
Before opting for this type of mole removal surgery, speak with your dermatologist regarding which mole you would like removed, the procedure that will be used (depends on the type of mole), healing times, total costs etc. If you are not totally comfortable with the procedure he recommends, ask for other alternatives.
Preparing For Punch Mole Removal Surgery
The area around the mole that is to be removed will be cleansed and sterilized.
An anesthetic will be applied to numb the areaThe may or may not numb with a needle.
Typical Mole Removal Methods
Depending on the mole, there are a few different procedures that can be done.
Excision Method with Stitches
This method of removing moles is more typically used for moles that are potentially cancerous. A sharp medical blade is used to remove the mole and the surrounding skin as well as the underlying in the shape of an oval. The size surrounding the mole that will be cut out depends on the concern of the surgeon for the mole being removed. Stitches are then received on the upper surface of the skin.
Burning off Moles (Cauterization)
I cannot recommend this in any way. Here it is: Using a cautery tool, the mole is burned away. No stitches are required as the mole has been burn-sutured. Scarring is expected.
The Shaving Method of Mole Removal
Here is the method that is most commonly used by older doctors for protruding moles. It is not the method of choice for atypical moles as it may leave mole cells beneath the skin, which in turn can cause the mole to grow back. The mole is lifted and removed with the scalpel, leaving the area flush with the surrounding skin. Next, an electrical instrument is used to cauterize or burn the area to stop bleeding. Afterwards, a topical antibiotic is applied to the wound to reduce the risk of infection. Last, a bandage is placed on the wound. Scarring can also be expected with this removal method
How long to Recovery
How long will it take to recover from this type of surgery? The amount of pain and discomfort associated with the healing process of mole removal varies with the individual. I can say that the area should be cleaned twice a day with water or diluted hydrogen peroxide followed by applying an antibiotic ointment that does not contain neomycin. (many people develop a rash due to being allergic to this product) - that is why we recommend NeoBiotic. The wound should be kept covered until healed. A scab might develop during this time which should heal within a week or two. Any pain or discomfort after surgery should be mild and can be offset with over the counter pain medications.
ScarsThe most common side-effect of surgical mole removal is scarring. These mole scars can range from just a line, to an oval shape depending on the type of method that your doctor used, and the amount of skin and tissue removed. All scars will fade somewhat over time, but for quicker results, skin resurfacing or other scar procedures can be undergone.
Costs of Mole Removal Surgery
The average cost to remove a mole is $125-$150.USD plus! These prices are non inclusive of anesthesia, operating room facility or any other associated costs. Most medical insurance providers do not cover mole removal as it is classified under the cosmetic surgery category. Financing options are sometimes available for mole removal surgery.
